We do not currently have tie down anchors embedded in the airfield.
Tie Downs are the responsibility of pilots and the expectation is that in cases of high winds needs will be met by the pilot to keep planes and people safe.
Yes, you can camp under your wing. Pilot’s can camp under the wing of their plane by buying tickets specifically for Camping under your wing + you’ll need a ticket for entry into the event for each day you intend to stay. Click HERE for tickets.
Yes, you can bring your friends and travel with other aircraft – but if you don’t arrive together we may not be able to get you parked together. We will do our best to accommodate you but we often run out of parking.
Yes, you need to use wing walkers when parking because we need to maximize our available parking space PLEASE PARK AS CLOSE AS CLOSE TOGETHER AS YOU CAN BUT PLEASE DO NOT cause hangar rash.
We have 100LL gas types available and purchase of all gas at Wayne Municipal Airport inside the FBO by filling out the Fuel Request Form and including payment info prior to fueling. Then someone from the Fuel team will reach out to you when ready.
There is food and drink available at the WayneAmerica grounds throughout each day of WAF 2023. Here is a list of events and food/drink vendors for this years’ event.

The Pilot's Guide to Wayne America
Fun things to do over the skies of Wayne:
- 25 miles south of Wayne on Highway 15 is a large American flag out in the middle of the country.
- Approximately 55 miles south, flying up along the Platte River. It’s very scenic and makes for a peaceful flight with amazing scenery.
- If coming from the east, a flight around Omaha is cool and then a flight over the Missouri River.
- If coming from the west, the Sandhills are awesome and a flight over Chimney Rock is a must.
